When you need to explain an industrial plant clearly, drawings and screen visuals are not always enough. ARI Model creates plant models that turn complex systems into something people can see, discuss and understand quickly, whether you are preparing for a trade fair, a client presentation, a planning review or prototype development.

ARI Model has specialised in architectural and industrial scale models since 2000. With 1,000 m² of workshops across France and Germany, including a third workshop opened in Germany in 2023, we handle plant model projects from design and fabrication through to lighting, delivery, installation and after-sales support.

True-to-scale plant models for industrial presentations, trade fairs and project reviews

A plant model needs to do more than look impressive on a stand. ARI Model builds true-to-scale industrial models that help you show process flow, equipment relationships and overall plant layout in a format that visitors, clients and internal stakeholders can grasp fast.

One recent ARI Model project was a true-to-scale crushing and screening plant model for GURSAN at Bauma 2025 in Munich. Displayed at Hall B2 / Stand 215, the model showed conveyors, crushers and hoppers in a way that helped visitors visualise how the plant operates.

That matters when your audience includes decision-makers who do not work from engineering drawings every day. Physical prototypes are widely valued because they support communication, feedback and decision making, and plant models give you that same advantage in a practical, presentation-ready form.

Depending on your project, ARI Model can produce plant models with features such as:

  • true-to-scale spatial layout and equipment positioning
  • key machinery representation, including elements such as conveyors, crushers and hoppers where relevant
  • lighting and interactive systems to make plant operation easier to follow
  • presentation-ready finishes for exhibitions, stakeholder reviews and marketing use

ARI Model plant models for engineering firms, industrial companies and exhibition teams

ARI Model works with industrial project teams that need a physical model to explain a plant before final decisions or production. That includes engineering firms, industrial manufacturers, construction teams, product and marketing departments, real estate and development stakeholders, and exhibition organisers across Europe and worldwide.

Some projects need a trade-fair centrepiece that attracts attention and starts better conversations. Others need a plant model as a decision-support tool, helping technical and non-technical stakeholders understand the same system from the same physical reference point.

Because ARI Model has delivered 499+ models in 17 countries, we are used to the demands of international coordination, file-based collaboration and delivery planning. You get a modelmaking partner that understands both technical fidelity and the commercial pressures around launches, exhibitions and approvals.

“ARI Model has delivered 499+ models in 17 countries for clients who need clear physical communication.”

This is especially useful when one project has several audiences. Engineers want accuracy, commercial teams want clarity, and visitors want to understand the plant in seconds rather than work through layers of drawings.

Plant model fabrication in France and Germany with CNC, laser cutting and 3D printing

ARI Model provides an end-to-end plant model service. We review your CAD files, drawings or reference material, define the right scale and display objective, choose the most suitable production methods, fabricate the model, integrate lighting or interactive elements where required, and prepare everything for delivery, installation and support.

Our production capacity is built around 1,000 m² of workshops across France and Germany, with 600 m² in France and 400 m² in Germany. ARI Model uses CNC machining, laser cutting and 3D printing processes including FDM, PolyJet, SLA and SLS, which allows us to match the fabrication route to your geometry, finish requirements and deadline.

“With 1,000 m² of workshops in France and Germany, ARI Model combines scale, precision and European production capacity.”

That mixed-method approach is valuable when a plant model includes structural elements, process equipment, fine detailing, display finishes and illuminated zones in one piece. Rather than forcing the whole job through a single process, we combine digital fabrication with hand-finishing so the final model is readable, robust and ready for public display.

To keep your project moving, we normally structure the work around a clear sequence:

  1. review of your files, goals, scale and use case
  2. definition of level of detail, lighting and presentation format
  3. fabrication, finishing and quality checks in our workshops
  4. delivery, installation and after-sales support

What ARI Model improves for industrial project teams

A good plant model reduces friction in communication. Instead of asking people to imagine the whole system from plans, renderings and technical documents, you give them a physical reference that makes layout, process flow and equipment relationships easier to discuss.

ARI Model uses plant models to help industrial teams present projects more clearly at trade fairs, support stakeholder understanding during planning, and prototype or demonstrator models before production. That can make meetings shorter, feedback more useful and design questions easier to surface before they become expensive changes later.

When you are presenting to mixed audiences, this is not a minor benefit. It is often the difference between a project that feels abstract and one that people can assess with confidence.

When ARI Model is the right fit for your plant model project

ARI Model is a strong fit when you need:

  • a true-to-scale plant model for a trade fair, client presentation or investor-facing display
  • a physical model that helps non-specialist stakeholders understand a complex industrial system
  • a prototype or demonstrator model before final production decisions
  • one supplier to handle design, fabrication, lighting, delivery, installation and support

If you already have drawings, CAD files or an early plant concept, ARI Model can turn it into a physical model that is easier to present, easier to explain and easier for others to support. Send us your project material, target date and intended use, and we will help you define the right scale, level of detail and production route for your plant model.
