ARI MODEL creates 3D printed architectural models for architects, developers, urban planners and engineering teams that need a physical model people can understand at a glance. We design, fabricate, illuminate and deliver presentation and prototype models from our workshops in France and Germany, supporting projects across Europe and worldwide.

If your project needs more than a render on a screen, ARI MODEL helps turn drawings and digital files into a model that supports planning discussions, investor presentations, sales launches and exhibitions. Since 2000, we have produced 499+ models in 17 countries, combining architectural model-making with digital fabrication, lighting and display-ready finishing.

ARI MODEL 3D printed architectural models for architects, developers and planners

ARI MODEL produces 3D printed models for competition entries, urban planning schemes, property marketing, design development and public exhibition use. You can commission a clean concept massing model, a detailed façade study, or a fully finished architectural presentation model with lighting and interactive features.

A good architectural model does more than show form. It helps your audience understand scale, context, circulation, building hierarchy and design intent without asking them to read a full drawing set.

"ARI MODEL has produced 499+ models in 17 countries since 2000."

ARI MODEL builds these models as communication tools, not as raw prints. That means we plan for sightlines, assembly, transport, handling, viewing distance and the environment where the model will be presented, whether that is a boardroom, sales suite, exhibition stand or public consultation space.

Accurate 3D printed architecture models for presentations, planning and design review

When a model is used to explain a proposal to clients, planning stakeholders or buyers, accuracy matters. External studies on professional 3D printing workflows show that sub-millimetre accuracy can be achieved, but results vary with the printing technique and the quality of the workflow.

"ARI MODEL uses FDM, PolyJet, SLA and SLS to match the print method to the brief."

ARI MODEL controls more than the print itself. We review the files, scale, level of detail, post-processing needs and final presentation requirements so the finished model reflects the design intent rather than the limitations of a single machine or material.

That matters when you need to show precise façade rhythm, podium articulation, setbacks, topography, public realm or phased development. A well-made 3D printed model makes design reviews clearer and reduces the friction that comes when different stakeholders interpret the same scheme in different ways.

ARI MODEL supports architectural teams with models for uses such as:

  • Competition models: fast, clear presentation pieces that help judges and clients grasp the concept quickly
  • Urban planning models: contextual models that show streets, plots, density, landscaping and phasing
  • Sales and exhibition models: finished display models with lighting for launches, showrooms and trade events
  • Prototype models: physical studies for form, assembly and presentation before wider production

3D printing technologies chosen for model detail, finish and deadline

ARI MODEL works with CNC machining, laser cutting and additive manufacturing in the same production workflow. Our workshops use FDM, PolyJet, SLA and SLS, which gives you more flexibility when your model needs different types of parts, finishes or production speeds within one project.

"ARI MODEL works from 1,000 m² of workshops in France and Germany."

PolyJet is especially useful when your architectural model includes detailed parts that need high surface quality and precision. ARI MODEL can also combine printed components with machined, laser-cut and hand-finished elements, which helps balance detail, durability and presentation quality across the whole model.

If your scheme includes repeated units, façade modules or other elements that may later move into larger-volume production, ARI MODEL can use prototype testing before industrial-stage production. You get a physical check of the design before committing further time and budget.

From CAD files to a finished illuminated architectural model

ARI MODEL manages the process from design interpretation to fabrication, finishing, delivery, installation and after-sales support. For you, that means fewer handover gaps, clearer responsibility and a model that arrives ready for use rather than partly finished.

At the start, we review your drawings or 3D files, intended scale, deadline, transport constraints and display requirements. If lighting or interactive systems will improve the model's impact, ARI MODEL plans those features into the build rather than trying to add them at the last minute.

You are not locked into a print-only service. ARI MODEL recommends where 3D printing adds the most value and where another fabrication method may give a better result for structure, surface finish or lead time.

A typical ARI MODEL brief can include:

  • Model planning: scale advice, file review, fabrication strategy and presentation intent
  • Production: 3D printing, machining, laser cutting, assembly, finishing and detailing
  • Presentation delivery: lighting, interactive features, transport preparation, installation and after-sales support

Production capacity in France and Germany for projects across Europe

ARI MODEL operates 1,000 m² of workshops across France and Germany, with 600 m² in France and 400 m² in Germany. That production base supports both detailed one-off presentation models and larger architectural model programmes where consistency, scheduling and cross-border delivery matter.

For project teams, this translates into stronger control over revisions, fabrication sequencing and delivery planning. ARI MODEL is set up for work that needs to move from digital file to finished model under real commercial deadlines, including launches, tenders, exhibitions and investor presentations.

That capacity also matters when a model is not simple. A recent ARI MODEL project for KILER GYO in Turkey was completed in 60 days by a team of eight employees, showing the level of coordinated workshop effort that demanding architectural model projects can require.

When ARI MODEL is the right fit for your 3D printed architecture model

ARI MODEL is a strong fit when your model has a clear job to do, not just a space to fill. If the model must help win support, explain complexity, sell a development or present your design professionally in a public setting, we shape the build around that outcome.

You are likely to get the most value from ARI MODEL if:

  • You need a presentation model: for clients, investors, planning meetings, sales suites or exhibitions
  • You need precision and finish: because façade detail, context, lighting or component clarity will affect how the project is judged
  • You need one accountable partner: from fabrication through to delivery, installation and support

ARI MODEL is also a practical choice when timelines are fixed. If your model is tied to a launch date, competition submission, public event or trade fair, we can tailor the production route to the deadline and the level of detail required.

Start your 3D printed architectural model with ARI MODEL

If you already have drawings, a 3D file, a scale in mind or a deadline to meet, ARI MODEL can help you turn that brief into a buildable model plan. We will assess the right printing and fabrication methods, the level of finish, any lighting requirements and the best route to delivery.

Share your project details with ARI MODEL, and we can discuss a 3D printed architectural model that makes your design easier to present, easier to understand and more effective in the room where decisions are made.
